SLWF-12.
Open board. Flexible firmware. Smart IR.

A compact Wi-Fi board on ESP8266 with a built-in IR transmitter, IR receiver and USB/UART converter. It sends commands to anything with an infrared remote — TVs, air conditioners, soundbars — captures signals from the remotes you already own, and folds them into your smart home automations. Open GPIO, ADC and UART pinouts keep it a real DIY board, not a closed device.

02

How to get started. In plain words.

Three steps
No programmer
STEP 1
Plug it in over USB
USB carries power — nothing else is needed to run it. The same connector reaches the onboard CH340N USB/UART converter, wired straight to the ESP8266 programming interface, so there is no separate programmer and no jumper gymnastics.
STEP 2
Flash it
Install ready-made firmware or build your own for ESP8266. ESPHome, custom builds — you are not tied to a single firmware.
STEP 3
Learn or configure
Point a remote at the board to capture its commands, then join it to your Wi-Fi — that is how it reaches Home Assistant, for dashboards, scripts and automations.
03

What it does.

Send and receive
On one board
TX+RX
IR transmitter and receiver
Both channels on one board — control TVs, air conditioners, soundbars, amplifiers, fans, projectors and any other equipment with an IR remote, no separate modules.
Capture
Command capture and playback
Point the remote, press a button — the board captures the signal and reproduces it later. The answer for devices with no ready-made IR codes anywhere.
HA
Ready for Home Assistant
It joins your network over Wi-Fi and talks to Home Assistant from there. Through compatible firmware — for example ESPHome with remote_receiver and remote_transmitter — IR functions land directly in dashboards, scripts and automations.
DIY
Built for DIY
GPIO, ADC, UART TX/RX, Reset, 3.3 V, 5 V and GND are all exposed. Add sensors, buttons, external modules or your own electronics — it is a developer board, not a black box.

Quick questions.

Straight answers
No footnotes
Q-01
What can it control?
Anything that answers to an infrared remote — TVs, air conditioners, soundbars, amplifiers, fans, projectors and the rest. If a remote can drive it, the SLWF-12 can too.
Q-02
My device has no ready-made IR codes. Now what?
Capture them yourself: point the original remote at the board, press a button, and the SLWF-12 records the signal for playback. No code database required.
Q-03
Do I need a programmer to flash it?
No. The onboard CH340N USB/UART converter is wired directly to the ESP8266 programming interface — plug in a USB cable and flash.
Q-04
I mainly want air-conditioner control. Is there ready firmware?
Yes — AC Bridge, our optional firmware for the SLWF-12, gives one-click air-conditioner learning, sync with the original remote, scenes, schedules, and integration with Home Assistant, MQTT and Telegram.
